Mike Farrell (of the Mike Farrell Sports brand) labeled both of Deion Sanders' Colorado football-playing sons, QB Shedeur and S Shilo Sanders, deserving of an NFL spot come 2025. LeBron James' son, Bronny James, does not deserve his NBA spot on the Los Angeles Lakers according to Farrell.

"Despite Deion’s annoying promotion of his kids (and of course himself) these kids belong in professional football. Bronny James does not," Farrell wrote.

The Godfather of Recruiting also pegged LeBron and Coach Prime "Daddy Ball" merchants. And even more shockingly than his defense of the Sanders kids, Farrell defended Deion in the context of a James comparison.

"Daddy Ball is on the national sports scene more than it ever has been with  and LeBron James," Farrell prefaced before saying, "Two national icons are shoving their kids down the respective throats of America and it can be sickening. But LeBron makes Deion look reasonable in all of this, and that’s hard to do."

Colorado football HC Deion Sanders' daughter Deiondra supports Bronny James

On the night of the 2024 NBA draft, Coach Prime's oldest daughter Deiondra, who is expecting a baby in August, shared her approval of Bronny after being taken with the No. 55 pick in the second round by his father's employer.

"Bronny got drafted by the Lakers," Deiondra prefaced before saying, "I love to see it lol. Y’all can’t tell me Legacies and last names dont matter."

It's evident the James and Sanders families have a good relationship. Shedeur and Travis Hunter attended Lakers games in Denver in 2023-24 and "The King" and Coach Prime share gifts, mostly in the form of Nike shoes.

Shedeur and Shilo probably wouldn't approve of this message from Farrell. It's not like the Sanders family has ever been a fan of Farrell''s criticisms anyway. Just ask Deion Jr.
