Shilo Sanders admitted that he provokes his father, Deion Sanders, before Coach Prime makes statements that go viral and have writers penning think pieces about them on his brother Shedeur's "2Legendary" podcast.

Shilo also admitted that it's Bucky Sanders who is the opposite: a proverbial angel on his father's shoulder.

“We be telling him the opposite thing,” responded Shilo to Deion Jr.’s question about whether he questions what Coach Prime says (h/t On3). “You tell him ‘you tripping’ to ‘calm down.’ I’m like, honestly, you can talk about that. I will call him and be like, ‘I think you should talk about that.’ I try to be the guy that just says it. We talk to him about different things. Like an example, Bucky tells him to chill out a little bit sometimes; I’ll tell him, you might need to expand on that.

“I encourage it, for sure. And then I’ll talk about it kind of, but I don’t care no more bro; it is what it is.”

Shilo Sanders has an intriguing public persona

Shilo is being pursued legally by a security guard he assaulted in high school and is being accused of bullying Cormani McClain in the locker room last season. He is, in many ways, a man on the run -- from lawsuits and rumors that are damning to his reputation.

But in spite of all of it, he is not backing down from who he is. It's admirable, but he should probably try not to flash any wealth as he declares bankruptcy.

Of course, some are certain to use this against him, but as he said himself, "it is what it is."

Shilo and his shoulder will be one of the biggest storylines heading into the 2024 season. As will anything Coach Prime says.

And just remember, when Deion says something controversial, it might've went through Shilo first.
