Athlon Sports' Steve Corder, the writer who dropped the infamous bombshell report about the Buffs locker room that got him an appearance on the Dan Le Batard Show, has once again thrown the gun culture accusation at Deion Sanders' Colorado football program.

Counting the initial report and the appearance on Le Batard's show, this is the third time Corder has assigned that unruly characteristic at Colorado -- but this time, it was made personal with another accusation of Coach Prime being ignorant of Boulder's history with gun violence.

"On a base level, why is any of (the accusations) acceptable? You have Sanders' six-figure earning graduate assistant stoking the flames with the Prime mob ready to pounce," Corder prefaced before saying, "But has anyone taken into considering the history in Boulder? You know, a mass shooting rocked the community at the foot of the Flatirons two years before Sanders walked onto the scene. In fact, just yesterday, Boulder law enforcement put out a report saying the King Soopers shooter appeared ‘eerily’ calm moments after shooting. But let's not talk about the gun culture Sanders and his staff is fostering."

Deion Sanders losing narrative of his Colorado football program quickly

Coach Prime continues to call out the media, and in doing so, he is having skeletons dug up from his and his sons' past.

Sanders dared a USA Today reporter to talk to every source imaginable and come back with a comprehensive understanding of Shilo's legal issues and USA Today's Brent Schrotenboer answered the challenge with a comprehensive report. He then threatened Corder with possible "ramifications" and now Corder is making it even more personal.

Coach Prime is losing the narrative as more accusations come out and ramifications don't follow.

Not to mention: the constant calling out of the media is making him look guilty, and there's far from a guarantee that he even is.

If Colorado racks up wins, this will seemingly all be pushed to the background. If not, there could be more accusations and bombshell reports to come.
